The Person

I'm a confused Singaporean striving to learn widely and apply deeply. Theory is great but skin-in-the-game is better. I stray away from viewing the world in black or white. Living in the gray sits right with me. Given the ambiguity, I value having a set of broad principles to guide my thinking.

I consider myself a generalist with the ambition to be above average in a unique mix of domains.

I'm happiest when I discover a new “theory” that reframes the world — a small step-change in how I think.

These days I graze on current affairs, general knowledge, and the occasional meme.
